Yes we have arrived in Cross Creek RV Resort in Arcadia FL. This is a beautiful park we have a new lot that we are parked on. We took this lot because we are up front and close to every thing. But first some pictures of our trip.

Boy I just cant seam to get to this blog! I really don't know why either, I actually like writing it. we woke up this morning to frost everywhere my flowers are all dead now. Went to Brandon's football game yesterday and let me tell you it was cold! the wind was just whipping! They lost there game he was so sad. Both teams were undefeated the score was 19 to 14 so it was a good game.
Well I'm getting things on my end for the baby shower this weekend, on Sunday I will post some pictures later. Oh did I forget to mention the new grand baby that's coming Dec. 20th? Well its my oldest son is having his first child, well its his wife's first also. Its a boy of course! so with the new little Gavin that we have now hes about 10 weeks old. Now we have 13 grand kids and then the new one in Dec. well he will be number 14!
Well to tell you the truth I have been very lax on this blog! So to catch you up on every thing that has been going on here we go.

My brother Mark came to Michigan to visit us and he bought a place here in the park. his place is up on the hill to the left of his huge Bass fish! His fish is 21inches long. it took him about 15 min's to bring him in.
We went to visit Bruce and DeAnn over the labor day weekend. we had a wonderful time with them! thank you Bruce & DeAnn very much for a very relaxing weekend we had so much fun with the both of you and the girls also!
First off I would like to thank all the men and women who have made the sacrifices to keep us safe in this great country where we are truly free.
Our day was a whirl wind from the day before decorating the golf carts. The parade and golf cart challenge, the ice cream social, and games for the little kids and a concert given by the Genesee County Concert Band. There were fire works here also but we did not stay here for those. We went into a little town called Corunna. It seems the small towns put on the best fire works. It was so nice to have the kids with us and our grand children.
This is Bill & June our long time friends,they are the ones who showed us the joys of RVing. Love them.

We are so happy here at this park we always have a great time. there were 80 to 100 golf carts and bikes in the parade today.

You can see the trees are in the water! Its almost to the road.I dont think I have seen it flood this bad. At least everyone in the park it self are high and dry :)
I'm telling you it needs to stop raining here! I know the farmers would love it. We had a huge storm here the other morning. About 6:00 am the wind started to blow, this is after we have had so much rain for days already. The pond across from our friends Bill & June was so flooded that the tress just up rooted and fell on top of 5 units. I feel so sorry for the people. I think most of them are full timers. They were not allowed to go inside of there units. The trees laded right on top of them. We are so thankful for this park it is owned by the family, the whole family worked that day and cleaned up everything.Even the kids and some grand kids. you can click on the pictures to enlarge them.
Well any way we were with out power for two days on and off. It was so bad I had to go with Bud to his work. LOL. They closed the course for two days it was so flooded.
Our Old friends that really got us on the road are in the park with us. It is so good to see them when ever we want. Bill the other day had told one of his neighbors to keep and eye out for a golf cart. OK so about 1/2 hour later he said there was one on the corner. He looks at it and bought it! They got a really good deal on it, it also has new batteries. So any one who has a golf cart knows that new batteries are one big plus.

Bud friend from as far back as the 5th grade called and said I'm here in town would love to see you guys. Beecher and his wife Jan live in Interlocken Mi. He had taken Jan to the airport and dropped her of so she could visit with her brother in Atlanta GA . He went and sat up at Brookwood Golf Course for two days and even helped him with some things! Now that is a true friend!
They had a great time.
Well we have baby birds again! they came back this year and I swear she waited for us to get home because when we pulled in she was waiting for us! I tired to take their picture and I did get a couple of shots I sure hope I haven't hurt them in any why. Mom was out of the nest when I took these. They look like they are just a day or two old.there almost prehistoric looking. This nest is under our motor home on the front chasse she was there also last year same place. She runs around and try's to be social with us it is just to funny.

Yes Bud has been working.And working and working!!! He has been putting in about 35 hours this past week and he will work Wednesday through Saturday this week. SO I guess he isn't retired after all. I tell him to slow down but the course has added more tournaments and the guys are all busy with everything else.! I'm not complaining though he loves it.
I have been busy with my flower beds. I love the therapeutic and calmness it gives me. Who knew I would end up loving the flower beds. I remember when my grandma Mimi used to make me work in hers with her. I look back on it now and you know the things I learned from her are still with me. I tried to teach my kids the same things so I can only hope they will pass it on to there kids.
We had a call from one of Buds oldest friends, he has know him since the 5th grade. Well anyways he came and stayed with us for a few days we had a good visit. he would go and help Bud at work also. Now that's a true friend. LOL
Oh OK Snookie!! I know I have been really lax on my blog... Also I'm no longer going to type in all caps because I don't want you to think I'm shouting at you. LOL
We have been very busy as usual. And for some reason this blog wont let me upload any pictures. I don't know why it just gets a hair up it you know what and it doesn't work!
It is finely getting warm here we have been here a month almost and it it is getting warm. I keep telling Bud that we are not coming home until June! He just lets me rant and rave about it.
Bud is back to work at Brookwood Golf Course, he is working two days a week and there are back to back so we have the rest of the week to do what ever we want.
Saturday was a whirlwind for us. Chelsey's prom was that day. But before the day could get started we went to my neise's 1 year old birthday party. It was at the Children's Museum from 11:00 to 1:30. We had a great time there with the family.
Then we left there and went on over the the high school to see the decorations for the prom. It is amazing how they decorate the gym for the kids to have a great time.
Then it is off to Wojos Garden center with my son Gary and Lesley. It was like old home week there we ran into so many people we knew... So I was a few dollars short with more plants to plant in my garden! And Lesley was the same...
After we left Wojos we went to take pictures of the prom girl. She was SO beautiful I just was in ah. Its hard for me to think she is graduating this year. I'm getting older I guess. :)
After the picture taking we went out to eat with Gary and his family at a small place we love it is called Grandmas Place wonderful food! All homemade food. While we were eating we were talking about going to see the new Star Wars movie on the Imax theater so we sad well lets go whats holding us back? We got there and the show was sold out so we decided to go see Wolverine movie. It was awesome. We will go back to see Star Wars on the Imax. So that was part of last weekend.
Now this weekend we are going over to Lake Huron for the long weekend. We are looking forward to going to see our new in laws Deb and Shannon... Will post more later.

ITS A ROBERT TRENT JONES COURSE. YOU KNOW THEY HAVE THEM ALL OVER IN ALABAMA.HE IS A COURSE DESIGNER, I DON'T THINK HE WAS EVER A PLAYER SO TO SPEAK. HE HAD A EYE FOR DESIGN THOUGH.

PALOMINO DUNES. THERE IS THREE COURSES HERE AT THIS ONE PLACE. PALOMINO PLANTATION
THIS WAS SO HARD!! YOU SEE ALL THOUGH SAND TRAPS I THINK I WAS IN ALL OF THEM. :)
EVERY WHERE YOU LOOKED IT WAS BREATH TAKING.

THIS IS CHELSEY MY GRANDDAUGHTER AND SARA, THEY WERE WITH US FOR ABOUT 10 DAYS I THINK.
WERE AT MAYAKA STATE PARK, FL. AS YOU CAN SEE THEY ARE FULL OF ENERGY... WE HAD SO MUCH FUN WITH THEM. WE ALSO WENT TO SIESTA BEACH, VENICE BEACH, COCOA BEACH. DOWNTOWN DISNEY FOR SHOPPING.
THEN MY SON GARY & HIS WIFE LESLEY CAME FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS BEFORE THEY WENT ON TO THERE MUCH NEEDED HONEYMOON.
AFTER THE COMPANY LEFT WE GOLFED IN A TOURNAMENT TO RAISE MONEY FOR A WOMAN THAT HAS CANCER IN THE LITTLE TOWN OF ARCADIA,FL. THE GOLF COURSE DONATED THE COURSE FOR THIS CAUSE.THANK YOU JASON! OVER 200 GOLFERS PARTICIPATED IN THIS EVENT. 9000.00 WAS RAISED FOR THIS WOMAN. IT WAS A GOOD THING...
AFTER ALL OUR GOODBYES WE LEFT OUR PARK IN FL. OUR FIRST STOP WAS IN FLAGER BEACH, FL. FOR 3 DAYS. I JUST LOVE THE OCEAN. WE WENT TO VISIT FRIENDS IN PALM COAST, FL. HAD DINNER WITH THEM AND A WONDERFUL VISIT.
THEN WE WERE ON OUR WAY ONTO HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC. WE WILL BE HERE FOUR DAYS.
SO NOW I'M KINDA CAUGHT UP ON THIS BLOG SNOOKIE. ;) I WILL TRY TO POST MORE PICTURES LATER.

WELL TODAY IS MONDAY AND WE ARRIVED HERE ON THURSDAY THIS IS THE FIRST DAY THAT WE HAVE BEEN OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE. WE CAUGHT THE FLU FROM BOB AND HIS DAUGHTER CHRISSY ( SO WE THINK IT WAS THEM) WE HAVE TO BLAME SOMEONE SO I GUESS ITS THEM (SORRY GUYS, WE LOVE YOU!) WE WERE SO SICK WE DID NOT GET OUT OF BED FOR THREE DAYS. EVEN MY HAIR HURT IF THAT IS AT ALL POSSIBLE.
SO I'M NOT PUTTING ALL THE BLAME ON MICHIGAN WEATHER... BUT IT DOES SEEM TO BE EVERY TIME WE COME HOME ONE OF US GETS SICK.
WE ARE REALLY GETTING EXCITED NOW THE WEDDING IS GETTING CLOSER.TOMORROW I GO FOR MY LAST DRESS FITTING. AND THEN WE HAVE TO ARRANGE THE REHEARSAL DINNER FOR FRIDAY. THEN ON WEDNESDAY I WILL GET MY HAIR HIGHLIGHTED. MY NAILS DONE.... BUDDY IS HAVING A HARD TIME WITH ALL THIS BUT HE IS A GOOD SPORT.
YES WE ARRIVED IN MICHIGAN ABOUT 9:30 PM OUR PLANE WAS DELAYED A BIT ABOUT 45 MIN'S. WE ARE HERE FOR THE WEDDING OF OUR SON GARY & LESLEY. WE ARE SO PROUD TO HAVE LESLEY AS PART OF OUR FAMILY SHE JUST SEEMS TO FIT RIGHT IN. THE WEDDING WILL BE ON THE 31 OF JANUARY. WE CANT WAIT IT WILL BE SO MUCH FUN AND LESLEY MAKES GARY SO HAPPY.
WELL FOR ALL OF OUR FLORIDA FRIENDS YES ITS COLD HERE BUT THERE IS LOTS OF SNOW ALSO. IT IS BEAUTIFUL. SHOULD MAKE FOR A GREAT WINTER WEDDING. WILL POST MORE LATER.
WELL WE ARE GOING TO MOVE BACK TO CROSS CREEK IN ARCADIA FL. THE MANGER OF THE PARK SAID SHE WOULD CALL US AFTER THE NEW YEAR. WE DID NOT THINK IT WOULD BE SO EARLY BUT SHE WANTS BUD TO CHAIR THE WINTER GAMES. SO THIS WEEK SOME TIME WHEN WE CAN GET THINGS TIED UP HERE WE WILL PULL OUT AND GO BACK TO OUR HOME PARK... WE WENT OVER THERE TODAY TO CHECK OUT OUR LOTTO SEE IF WE NEED TO DO ANYTHING TO IT AND NO THE LOT LOOKS GOOD ENOUGH SHELL LAY ED DOWN FOR OUR MOTOR HOME. WE DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT SINKING. WE ALSO THINK BUD WILL START HIS TRAINING FOR NEXT YEAR.

THEN ON NEW YEARS DAY WE WENT TO RICK AND WENDY'S FOR DRUNKEN BURGERS. ALL I HAD TO BRING IS ONE BOTTLE OF BEER. THEY WERE GREAT AND IT WAS GOOD TO JUST RELAX
